Privacy Policy

Last updated · 2026-05-25

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Society ("ZAS") respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal data lawfully, transparently and securely. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights.

1. What we collect

Contact details you give us via our forms (name, email, phone, organisation), registration information for exhibitors and conference delegates, payment references (handled by our payment partners), and basic site analytics (anonymised).

2. Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, process registrations, send newsletters you opted in to, improve the site, comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

3. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share only with vetted processors (email, payments, analytics) under strict contractual safeguards.

4. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or export of your data, withdraw consent, or object to processing. Contact privacy@zas.co.zw.

5. Retention & security

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purpose collected. We apply industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
