Acting CEO of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society, Eng E. Makaure, planted the tree of the year as we commemorated National Tree Planting Day with our partners Global Shapers Harare Hub, Young Volunteers for the Environment, and the Zimbabwe Sunshine Group. The purpose of this day is to join the nation in planting, caring for and conserving trees, as a way of ensuring sustainability in the management and utilisation of forest resources in the agricultural sector.
